Mr. Khor Aik Lam currently heads the Innovation Advisory team at IPI that engages companies across several industries – including Food, MedTech, Personal Care, Aerospace – to provide bespoke guidance in relation to technology & innovation solutions as well as business development.
He was the Regional Group Director overseeing Enterprise Singapore (ESG)’s trade, internationalisation and investment interests in Latin America and the Caribbean region, where he was based out of to lead the teams in Sao Paulo and Mexico City. Prior to that, under then-IE Singapore, he was the Divisional Director overseeing the air transport, land transport, sea transport and logistics sectors, while supporting various Singapore-based companies in their innovation initiatives, business development and global collaboration.
During his stint in both public and private sectors, including Economic Development Board (EDB), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) and Penta-Ocean Construction Co. Ltd., he had the privilege to work with many global corporations, Small and Medium Companies (SMEs) and Startups in the areas of international business development, business modelling, new product development, technology and innovation, and strategic planning.
Ms Yang Tzu Hsuan studied industrial design where she honed her design skills and sensitivity, and was drawn to the digital world as she started coding websites for quick bucks as a student.
Today she is a digital product designer by trade, helping businesses succeed through scalable and thoughtfully designed experience. Throughout her career, she worked as an in-house designer and a consultant, always deeply embedding herself in development teams to bridge design, business and tech. Her impact spans across health, PC, automotive, manufacturing, retail, travel industry, in both public and private sectors.
Brian is a health-tech entrepreneur, an ultra-trail runner and a mental health advocate. Brian is passionate about building a vibrant startup ecosystem and is currently deputy director at ACE looking after corporates, risk capital, internationalization and collaborations with public agencies. Brian spent 10 years in China and Hong Kong as a management consultant and business development executive with Synovate / IPSOS and IDC, helping companies in market entry strategies, competitors’ analysis and business model innovation. Prior to joining ACE, Brian worked with not-for-profit organizations Singapore Business Federation and The Conference Board building the business eco-system in Singapore and the region.
Eu-Lin leads the Sustainability & Climate Change practice where she helps clients strategise, implement, report and obtain assurance across a range Environmental, Social and Governance issues. This includes but not limited to in the areas of carbon measurement, decarbonisation and net zero pathways, climate risk assessments, Sustainability Development Goals prioritisation, green and sustainable finance, sustainability strategy and sustainability reporting. She has worked in London and Singapore and served clients across financial services, government, real estate, marine, oil and gas, consumer, resources and telecommunications. Her experiences are across advisory, audit, governance and risk management.
Eu-Lin is a Singapore Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of Harvard Business School. She is an Edwards S. Mason Fellow and has a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. Eu-Lin is also an accredited Carbon Tax verifier.
Bing Yi is a Director in PwC Singapore with over 11 years of assurance and advisory experiences. He is part of PwC Singapore’s Sustainability and Climate Change practice, helping clients in sustainability reporting, strategy and assurance across various industries including banks, asset managers, real estate as well as other large corporates. His areas of expertise include green and sustainable financing, sustainability reporting and environmental risk management.
Aside from his specialism in Sustainability, Bing Yi is also a Banking & Capital Markets specialist, and is experienced in providing audit, assurance and advisory services to various banks and financial institutions in Singapore and Australia. He is currently the engagement leader for a portfolio of audit clients in financial services.
Bing Yi is a Practising Member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and also a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours).
Thomas Bannister, in his current role, oversees the budget of the medical device company’s largest pacemaker facility in the world. Prior to his ACCA journey, Thomas was an Engineer in a semiconductor company. After completing the globally recognised ACCA examination, he began to pursue his passion and work as a finance professional.
Becoming one of the key member of the ACCA Singapore Network Panel, he hopes to inspire the next generation of ACCA future members and members. Since 2017, he has been a part of the ACCA GenNext committee and together with his fellow members, they have successfully grown the group of 10 like-minded members to over 150. The committee conducts a wide range of activities including training, kayaking, wine-tasting etc.
He was also a part-time lecturer in 2017 providing tuition for ACCA Management Accounting and Financial Accounting. In 2019, he became a qualified project mentor to guide ACCA students attempting their BSc in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University.
Vincent is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Audit function. He has been with KPMG for more than 15 years and worked in a variety of roles within KPMG in Singapore and KPMG Global e.g. Audit / Innovation / Professional Practice et cetera. Vincent also led the deployment of various audit initiatives within KPMG in Singapore and across regions.
Belinda is the current Chairwoman of ACCA Singapore Network Panel, and sits on 2 Global Forums: Taxation and Business Law; She also chairs the Singapore Taxation Forum sub-committee.
Belinda understands Singapore’s unique role as a strategic business hub and she likewise advocates for members to maximize the value of their membership by collaborating freely without borders or barriers. Over the years, she has established a network of global ACCA members and she uses this resource to connect more members together. Belinda supports and participates in many of the member initiatives and is instrumental in enabling projects such as the virtual ACCA Global Run in 2020. This remarkable event had brought over 400 members from 37 countries together and counts as the most ambitious global ACCA event organised by members, for members.
Yilin is a Partner with KPMG in Singapore and has deep-seated experience in Assurance. She is adapt in capital market transactions, with involvement in special projects like initial public offering, bond offerings as well as engagements that involved very significant regional acquisition and reverse takeover. Through the years, Yilin has covered the audits across a wide range of industry sectors such as Construction, Manufacturing, Distribution, Trading and Pharmaceuticals.
Ernie is an entrepreneur with more than 5 years of experience in social innovation and technology start-ups based in Singapore. Drawing on her experiences as Co-founder and CEO at Code for Asia Society Ltd. and various stints in the education sector, Ernie is passionate about building communities and software that can scale quality education. Under her leadership, Code for Asia is now a digital talent accelerator that operates entirely online for young people to learn and to build tech ventures together.
A strong believer in collaborative innovation and cross-cultural collaborations, Ernie also manages Prep Junior – a mobile game for preschoolers to learn Mandarin – from concept to development and testing as Product Director. She has hosted ChangemakerXchange – an impact retreat for top social entrepreneurs from around the region to connect and collaborate in China since 2018. In 2019-2020, Ernie initiated the InnovAsian coalition with partners to spark and catalyse a generation of future-ready young leaders that can positively impact the region at scale together.
Apart from building communities and software at Code for Asia, Ernie enjoys teaching and tinkering with data science.
Nicole Tee is an Assurance Partner in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) sector, with a strong focus in e-commerce and semiconductor technology in the past few years. She serves listed and multinational clients reporting under US GAAP, SFRS and IFRS. She has also assisted a major multinational client in its conversion from reporting under US GAAP to IFRS. Nicole has handled multiple audit transitions for large multinational clients. And led IPO projects for multiple clients, and is also involved in due diligence, and US GAAP/IFRS conversion projects.
Nicole has had numerous overseas assignments and has extensive experience in coordinating the audits of geographically diversified companies, particularly across Southeast Asia. She has also served on the capital markets desk in Singapore and reviewed both inbound and outbound capital markets transactions in Asia, including Regulation S and Rule 144A transactions.
Kaizad is an Innovation and Technology leader with deep experience in delivering innovative, high-quality and responsive technology solutions to drive business transformation.
He oversees Deloitte Asia Pacific’s Audit & Assurance overall technology and innovation direction and provides leadership for technology development, deployment and knowledge management. He offers strong business support for internal and external client service delivery through the use of technology.
Kaizad’s role covers more than 100 cities spread across eight countries, managing close to 300 people focused on delivering cutting edge, innovative solutions that drive Deloitte’s business transformation agenda.
Kaizad also has over 15 years of public accounting experience in Singapore in the financial audits of multinationals as well as listed and local companies from various industries.
Rudy Tedja is a Manager of Deloitte’s Southeast Asia Innovation team based in Singapore. It is a cross-function unit dedicated to drive Innovation as a long-term creator across Deloitte’s Southeast Asia operations. He is currently leading on projects such as Internal Deloitte Innovation Challenge and Low Code Workshops, and managing the internal asset portfolio within Deloitte Southeast Asia. Rudy also has experience working in other industries such as Events, Design and Marketing. Prior to his role in Deloitte, he works as Industrial Designer in several in-house design teams in Singapore and Taiwan, where he designed gaming peripherals and consumer electronic products, including UI/UX, branding and the packaging. Rudy graduated with a Master in Marketing from UCD (University College Dublin) and BA Hons in Design for Industry from Northumbria University. In his free time, he enjoys watching movies and documentary videos about history, technology and manufacturing.
Susanna Tang is an audit manager with Ernst & Young LLP for 10 years and has experience working with various clients ranging from education, pharmaceutical and life sciences, to the food and beverages industry.
In recent years, Susanna has also worked on developing global audit solutions and processes within EY, focusing on analytics and new innovative processes.
Susanna hopes that with new audit processes and technology, the audit profession will continue to be attractive for the next generation.
Alvin is a senior inspector with the Practice Monitoring department in ACRA. Alvin’s core work revolves around the inspection of audit engagements in accordance with prescribed standards and other requirements by public accountants when providing public accountancy services, as well as inspection of quality controls of audit firms in accordance with the Singapore Standards on Quality Control 1. ACRA is also a member of the technology task force set up by the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR) and Alvin is actively involved in the activities of the task force.
Prior to joining ACRA, Alvin spent 9 years in an international accounting firm where he performed and managed the audits of financial statements. Alvin also conducted training for the audit practice within the firm.
Germin Ong is Head of the Strategy & Planning at the Singapore Accountancy Commission (SAC). SAC is a statutory board under the Ministry of Finance that develops Singapore’s accountancy sector with the vision of developing Singapore into a leading global accountancy hub.
The department focuses on building business capabilities to capture growth opportunities, and developing Singapore into a centre for accountancy thought-leadership. To achieve this, strategies are developed to drive economic and manpower growth, including the promotion of Singapore’s economic interests internationally. Research and collaborative projects are also undertaken to grow Singapore’s accountancy knowledge.
Mr Ong holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Science (Management) from the University College Dublin. He is also a Chartered Accountant (Singapore).
